I have walked this journey. I began my journey toward parenthood full of hope, excitement, and anticipation.
I have counted down the days and hours during the two week period in anticipation of good news. I cried my eyes, my heart completely broken after each failed cycle, conception, and ultimately the miscarriages.
I have experienced the fear and the uncertainty...
Will I ever hold this child I dream and hope for in my arms? What if I can't conceive and carry a child? What if my child is not healthy?
Sadly my journey never resulted in a child. What did happen, however, was an odyssey of years of additional intensive study in functional and integrative health and a burning desire to help others succeed where I could not.
